• The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo (BRESE) 2026 will be held from 2–5 November 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, announced Union Minister Pralhad Joshi
• For the first time, BRESE will co-host three major events: BRESE 2026, the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly, and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH); the Prime Minister will inaugurate it
• Invitations extended to 34 countries for BRESE; the ISA has invited 128 countries; the summit brings together developers, manufacturers, storage and green-hydrogen firms, financiers and investors
• India will soon cross 300 GW of installed non-fossil-fuel capacity; PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is expected to cross 50 lakh beneficiary households
• Next phase to focus on hybrid renewables, battery energy storage, floating solar, agrivoltaics and the National Green Hydrogen Mission; Gujarat is developing the world's largest hybrid RE park at Khavda — reflecting cooperative and competitive federalism
• The official logo "URJHA Chakra" and a digital portal/mobile app were unveiled
