• MoHFW conducted a two-day National Training of Trainers (NToT) at NHSRC, New Delhi for all five cadres delivering primary healthcare at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs); 110+ National and Master Trainers participated
• Five cadres covered: Medical Officers, Staff Nurses, Community Health Officers (CHOs), ANMs and ASHAs
• Anchored in the Integrated Training Strategy (ITS) with cadre-specific modules, launched by Health Minister J.P. Nadda at the National Summit on Best Practices, Chandigarh (30 April 2026)
• ITS marks a paradigm shift: from programme-specific, knowledge-focused capacity building to patient-centric, competency-based training including behavioural skills, empathy and communication
