India Hosts 13th ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement Joint Committee Meeting to Advance ASEAN-India Trade Pact Review

• India hosted the 13th AITIGA (ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement) Joint Committee and related meetings at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi (July 6–10, 2026, hybrid format) to review progress of the AITIGA Review negotiations
• Joint Committee directed expedited finalisation of outstanding review chapters, with time-bound deliverables assigned to Sub-Committees
• Three of the eight Sub-Committees met on the sidelines: Customs Procedures & Trade Facilitation (SC-CPTF), National Treatment & Market Access (SC-NTMA), and Rules of Origin (SC-ROO)
