Over 9.42 lakh farmers join 'Save the Farm Campaign' for balanced fertiliser use

• More than 9.42 lakh farmers have joined the 'Khet Bachao Abhiyan' (Save the Farm Campaign) of the Ministry of Agriculture for balanced fertiliser use, soil-fertility conservation and sustainable farming (as of 4 June 2026)
• Outreach: 17,834 awareness programmes, 3,698 training sessions and 8,850 demonstrations on organic/alternative nutrients and integrated nutrient management
• 5,237 panchayat representatives and 9,609 input dealers engaged; FPOs, SHGs and FIGs involved (8,383 members)
• Banners/hoardings at 60,477 locations; 1,027 radio talks and 240 TV/digital programmes; social-media reach ~3.505 crore people
• Aim: cut excessive chemical-fertiliser dependence and promote soil testing and sustainable practices
