Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Launch Grih Pravesh of 5 Lakh PMAY-G Houses; Rs 8,368.50 Crore PMAY-G Mother Sanction and 35 PMGSY-IV Road Projects for Maharashtra

• Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will, on 15 May 2026 at Satara (Maharashtra), launch the Grih Pravesh of 5 lakh completed houses under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G)
• He will hand over house keys to 6 PMAY-G beneficiaries, including the beneficiary linked to the 3 croreth house completed under the scheme — a landmark in India's rural housing
• He will issue a PMAY-G Mother Sanction of central share assistance worth Rs 8,368.50 crore for Maharashtra for FY 2026-27, plus approval for 35 PMGSY-IV road works worth Rs 122.98 crore benefiting 35 rural habitations
• State-level awards under "Maha Awaas Abhiyan 2023-24" will be distributed at the PMAY-G Beneficiary Conference
